I have a suggestion for title hunt, can it be fair to make title switch from one or multiply heroes on same account to another hero on that account, Drunkard, Survivor, Party, Sweet, Legendary defender of Ascalon.

The thing is i have 29 titles on my prime hero, and on anothers i have one title that i want to switch to make it 30/30, can it be made to switch title with tokens like extrim make over. Basically when i start playing i didn't have skill to make Legendary Survivor with my prime hero. I would gladly switch 3 of the same title to prime hero, so 3 heroes with same title to remove the title from them and gave one to prime hero. Only account based ? ? ?

And i love this game cant w8 for GW 2

If this is a question whether it's possible to transfer titles from one character to another, then no it's not possible.

If it is a suggestion to implement such a feature I'd like to point you to the suggestion forum, Sardelac Sanitarium.

Lazy have nothing to do about this when u need to go to work and cant play game 24h/7 all other titles left are no fun, mindless, chest run, lock picking, lucky, unlucky and wisdom they are not hard just mindless no fun at all.

Should have continued with drunkard, party animal and other stuff on the legendary survivor toon. Now just max out the Luxon one.

I say no. Reason? Because those titles are suppose to be character based, and if you don't earn them on a certain character then you don't deserve to display it on that character.

I had to read this almost 5x before i understood what the hell you meant - one word seriously misleads what you mean - heros.
Heros are the lil robotic helpers you aquire in game ( easy expanation ) and not the chr you are using - easier to say your toon or chr ( both widely used in gw ).
How long it took redog91 to realise what you meant i dont know but im sure others as well are going to be slightly confused.
Answer to the question - notsigned , theres many players out there who do the titles or most titles on multiple chrs and they dont complain.Theres enough titles to pick and choose the last few needed.Party and sweet are not hard to get maxed - specially as another events due in new few weeks and sweets/party items will be available.

we all have multiple toons with various titles, i almost weep now when i think back to my first toon who i deleted after 3 years of playing because i was "bored" with him.... if i still had him i would have my gwamm easily ...lol

its all part of the game.... if we had known back then what we know now ...

agreed with this(8x for me tho). but from what ur saying(i think) you want to make character based titles account titles... or that you want to get a title on 1 character.. pay for a makeover to strip that character of its title and add it to your main. thats a really bad idea and it can be abused really easily. so /notsigned

This game really cannot make up its mind when it comes to deciding whether its an rpg or not.
If its an rpg then all titles should be character based but since anet cannot make up its mind I have ceased applying logic to the game.

I guess I would go with any title where you have to run around using your character skills to achieve the title should be character based.

Anything that is just throwing money at it or going afk and waking up with a title can be account based imo.

there have been so many posts asking for lazy ways to get their titles, how pathetic people have become

/unsigned, shoulda just chosen 1 toon to get all titles on, now suffer like the rest and work for them

That's why they're making all titles account-wide in GW2, right?

Face it, the only reason they didn't do that with all titles in GW1 was because people like you would have whined about it...and now they're correcting the mistake in GW2. Sorry OP, you're out of luck; best get going on one of the grind titles like everyone else who missed Survivor on their main character.

Actually I find that ok and do not think it lazy. After all, whichever character you use to get the certain title, it is still you playing to get it. But on the note of deciphering this...I totally agree.

Ok for all of u that need decipher I will draw this

U play game with one character, toon, hero call it what u want, but u missed title that u can’t ever get with it like LDoA or Survivor. Then u start playing with another character, toon, hero for fun, and to get titles u didn’t got with main character and u got them. Little drawing now

1. Elementalist (secondary character) --------------\

2. Monk (secondary character) ---------------------- A. Warrior (prime, alfa, main character)

3. Mesmer (secondary character) --------------/

All 3 (secondary character) got same title Legendary Survivor, Legendary Defender of Ascalon, Party, Drunkard or Sweet. So u take all 3 titles remove them from secondary character, and give one to main character. Or make it that one full title get u 33% of it when u switch to another character. This is only for account characters.

It is not lazy and cheap like someone told, u got that title 3 times U PLAYED FOR IT .

One more thing if your main character is Rt, A, D, P, u can’t ever get Legendary Defender of Ascalon so this is a way to get titles.

U can make like “Character Name Change” , or “Extreme Makeover”, + if u want to switch title u need to pay for it.

Don't really see why you shouldn't be able to do this anyway. Nobody cares about what titles you have or how you may have earned them, so being able to transfer you progress from one char to another is fine in my book and just helps to minimise repetition.

Cool, so that means I can make my lvl 2 Ranger in Shing Jea leg Carthographer, but my ele would lose it! Oh wait..

If it's drunk/party/sweet, mkey, I can get it, but I still oppose to it, all other titles, no. Especially rep titles. I could make over 300 characters Holy Lightbringer by transfer, which doesn't make sense, you didn't kill the things for the bounty, you don't get the credit, period. (with you, i mean the character, not you as a person^^)

All comes down to the two main ways people view the game.

Either you the player earn everything using toons and by definition everything you earned should be account wide.

In favour of this argument is that all material wealth in the game is shared.
My Necro travels to cantha finds a bow and puts it in storage.
My ranger who has never been to cantha takes that bow and uses it.
How can the titles not be shared.

Or you could argue that the storage part of the game was shared because to do otherwise would lead to every character having individual storage which would have to be a lot smaller to prevent the servers melting down.
Consider my 14 characters all with their own xunlai storage equal in size to my shared storage.

If you take the second argument then you should ignore the inconsistancy of shared storage in which case every title should be gained by each character.

Anet decided to do both.
